Eating Disorder Recovery

Get the help you need to heal.

I know it may be difficult right now to accept that you need to recover – I understand that.

Eating disorders make it hard to realize when we need help.

The good news is you can see improvements in your symptoms and move to food freedom – I’ve seen it happen!

Even if you feel like you are not “sick enough,” you deserve nonjudgmental, supportive care.

How do I know if I have an eating disorder?

Here are some signs of an eating disorder. This is not an official assessment – simply a way to check in with yourself. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you will benefit from an ED dietitian.

You worry about how others  judge your body and what you eat

You find yourself comparing the food you eat to the food of friends, family, or people online

You don’t like to eat at work or school, and have anxiety when there is a food event happening

Eating some foods makes you feel shame and guilt

It is possible your eating disorder symptoms are different, but remember all different types of struggling with eating are valid and deserve care.

Don’t have an eating disorder?

You want to be done with your eating disorder for good.

You want to break the chain and teach your children or future kids (or nieces and nephews!) to have a peaceful relationship with food.

You want to have a day where you don’t think about food much. (While still eating!)

Full recovery is possible, and reaching out is the first step.

You don’t need to know the whole journey ahead, and I’d love to help you focus on just taking the next steps.
